Woodstock 50th Anniversary is Happening!

November 19, 2018
When you think of concerts or at least one of the greatest events in history many events come to mind for most. However, when you approach the subject with Rock fans you may get one huge event that mostly started it all for huge events.
This event happened in 1969 and it was and still is called Woodstock. The outside event that took place August of 1969 in Bethel featured the likes of the greatest guitar player in history aka Jimi Hendrix and his iconic incarnation of the 'Star Spangled Banner' and the noises he made with his guitar. The event also was one of the most publicized and media filled concerts in history.
The spectacle also, unfortunately, happened almost 50 years ago and the genius of it could only be explained by your grandparents and possibly parents who attended. There were a couple of follow-ups to the event that took place in 1994 and 1999, but none stood up to the first.
Now a new generation has risen called the millennials and I think we want to experience this kind of concert first hand and even though we won't see Jimi Hendrix play live in the flesh, we still want it. This MusicCreedLivers just may be possible judging from a new update we bring before you.
It looks like there will be a 50th-year celebration for Woodstock and it may be coming as early as next year. Michael Lang, one of the original promoters and creators has stated that the upcoming event is "definitely a plan" for 2019. An official announcement is in the works Lang promises. “This is not a done deal yet,” he clarifies, “But it’s very close.”
If the festival is coming back to Bethel, NY has not been revealed. However, wherever the concert is going it just may be extremely hype
