Lil Peep Dies at 21 ~ Suspected Overdose
 
Lil Peep, a rising star in the music industry and artist who is known for his emotional tracks, has died at the age of 21. The stars United Kingdom representative has confirmed the news to the guys over at the Guardian. 
 
The artist who real name is Gustav Åhr was reportedly transported to the hospital and was reported dead from an apparent overdose, according to his manager Adam Grandmaison.
 
Just hours prior to his unexpected death, Åhr posted a video online where he had taken prescription drugs and other substances, saying: “I’m good, I’m not sick”. The music star was paid tribute by artist like Diplo who wrote on Twitter  Åhr “had so much more to do man he was constantly inspiring me”, and fellow producer Marshmello writing: “Peep was the nicest person. Hanging out with him, talking to him about music, the song ideas we were going to do together and touring was so amazing.”
 
The CEO of First Access Entertainment, Sarah Stennett, decided to release a statement about the musician. Stennett stated:  “I am shocked and heartbroken. I do not believe Peep wanted to die, this is so tragic. He had huge ambition and his career was flourishing [...] I have spoken to his mother and she asked me to convey that she is very, very proud of him and everything he was able to achieve in his short life.”
 
Lil Peep was known for doing like another artist like XXXTentacion did and blend cold trap production with highly emotional, soul-searching “emo” lyricism, and earned him a cult following, Lil Peep released his debut album Come Over When You’re Sober (Part One) in August this year.
