Bachelor in Paradise Has Been Stopped But Not Canceled After Sexual Conduct Between Two Cast MembersJune 12, 2017
It was revealed that the upcoming Bachelor in Paradise series has been put on a pause after an incident occurred involving two high-profile contestants.
The two contestants were confirmed to DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios, and the cast has been sent home from the Puerto Vallarta, Mexico film spot.
“We have become aware of allegations of misconduct on the set of Bachelor in Paradise in Mexico,” Warner Bros. said in a statement. “We have suspended production and we are conducting a thorough investigation of these allegations. Once the investigation is complete, we will take appropriate responsive action.”
The guys at TMZ Revealed that the incident that occurred was pertaining to DeMario and Corinne sexual moment in a swimming pool, and producers nonetheless let the interaction play out on film. It is alleged that Corinne was so called sexually assaulted and was too drunk to give consent. However, DeMario stated that he and Corinne were drinking heavily and making out at the bar. She suggested they take it to the swimming pool, where they took their clothes off and began "rubbing, touching and fingering." He also claims she put her genitals in his face and he began licking. He says he was unable to consummate things because he was so drunk.
TMZ sources say the field producer in question was assigned to shadow Corinne and began hearing stories from people on the set that Corinne was so drunk she had no idea what was going on in the pool. It's unclear if the producer watched the incident, but we know she has NOT seen the footage. People familiar with the footage told the guys at TMZ Corinne appears "fully engaged." As we reported, after the complaint was filed Warner Bros immediately dismissed both DeMario and Corinne and launched an investigation into "misconduct."
Production is currently suspended but the show has not been canceled. Stay updated with us as the story continues to unfold. Also, you can follow us via our social network pages, which are located below.
